When I started consulting, I approached each project like I would a competition. With focus, determination, grit and a clear vision.

For the past 10 years, I’ve handled various projects from consulting to project management and actual execution. I’ve collected the best practices that have delivered results and the things I apply now when I onboard my clients.

Phase 1 - The Carve

This is where everything begins.

When I have my first touchpoint with a client, I make it a standard to listen actively. It’s all about understanding who you are,  what shaped your brand, what matters most to you, and what you’re building towards. Whether you’re a founder, a resort owner, or a non-profit director, this phase is about creating space to listen.

Consulting Questions during my discovery session

  • I ask questions that go deeper than the surface.

  • What are your non-negotiables?

  • What do you want to be known for?

  • What are the specific metrics you want to achieve after the project?

  • What areas do you feel the most stuck in?

  • What are the existing resources and support we can utilize? What areas do we lack?

Prior to our meeting, I will also look at how your brand is showing up so I get a sense of what's working, what feels off, and where the energy is leaking. The goal is to gather enough context to make strategy feel not just smart, but personal.

Phase 2 - The Lift Off

Once we’re clear on who you are, we can begin mapping where you want to go.

This is where I connect the dots between your business goals, your positioning, and your advocacy. My strength lies in creating strategy that’s not just “creative”. I make sure it’s grounded, intentional, and informed by what’s happening in your industry and the culture at large.

Specifically in sustainability and ecotourism, there are existing networks and circles I can tap to bring into your project.

During this phase, I finalize on the following:

  • Your unique positioning

  • Audience insights and ecosystem

  • Brand or project message and voice

  • Advocacy opportunities or partnerships

  • Campaign angles and communication flow

Clients will usually receive a document that serves as a framework and foundation on how the team can proceed moving forward.

Phase 3 - The Harness

This is when I tighten the ropes of your projects. This involves high-touch collaboration and communication with your team. During this phase, you can expect movements on your projects whether in marketing, operations, partnerships, or events.

Each project will look different but these might look like:

  • Brand-building or repositioning

  • Content strategy or campaign rollouts

  • Advocacy or CSR program design

  • Identifying key partners, media, or collaborators

  • Aligning internal teams for smoother communication

Phase 4 - The Landing

From takeoff to landing, I ensure the whole project goes on smoothly. Every project I handle is more than a transaction for me. Part of the system is the regular check-ins, addressing roadblocks, measurements of key results, tracking of key metrics, and making sure we are on track of our goals.

Some examples of specific metrics I track would be:

  • Conversions/ Turnout

  • Audience Engagement Rates

  • Campaign Dashboards

  • Feedback forms or testimonials

Your brand is one campaign or project away to success. If you’re launching a campaign soon, scaling your brand, or need expert support from someone who has done it before, we can collaborate together.
